Pakistani celebrities made sure to not let this moment go and raised their voice against the Indian government violating the basic human rights of self-expression and determination on Twitter.
After the Pulwama Attack, which took place on 14th February 2019, the increasing turmoil between Indian Forces, Pakistani forces and freedom fighters in Kashmir goes on – Although, the states government and everyone else involved has tried to make things look as normal as they can, the public does not seem convinced regarding it.
All the educational institutes along with a ban on any public movement has been imposed followed by the house arrest of pro-Indian leaders Mehbooba Mufti and Omar Abdullah.
In this whole rage-burning chaos, Pakistani celebrities such as Mahira khan, Hamza Ali Abbasi, Mawra Hocane and many others expressed their concerns regarding this issue has concerns. This concern was initiated by Hamza Ali Abbasi, who urged all his fellow artist to speak up against this issue:

This tweet urged the UNHCR Goodwill ambassador Mahira Khan to express her feelings over this situation as well and she was followed by many other celebrities:
