9 months old Nishwa who was battling for her life for the past eight days, took her last breadth on Monday morning at Liaquat National Hospital in Karachi.
She suffered severe brain damage and became paralyzed after she was administered a wrong dosage by the nursing staff of Darul Sehat Hospital, Karachi.
This made everyone furious and celebrities such as Armeena Khan, Xulfi and Ali Rehman Khan took to social media to call out authorities over the ungovernable prevalence of medical negligence in Pakistan and the need to implement better systems of care at hospitals.

R.I.P little angel, may you play with the angels in the highest of heavens. I think the worst thing in the world for a parent is to bury their child. This is truly so sad and heart breaking #Nashwa

Inna lillahe wa inna illaihe raje’oun. The whole country mourns for #Nashwa today. Medical malpractice is a scary reality in Pakistan where practitioners excape accountability and criminal sentences. @ImranKhanPTI’s govt need to start clamping down on this! https://t.co/Ixdtw9QivF
