Vinod Khanna’s unfortunate demise was undoubtedly a tragedy for his lovers and fans not only in India, but in Pakistan too. Moved by his death, the movie fraternity has been paying tributes to the late actor and they certainly have us all warmed up. In the midst of all, Pakistani diva Humaima Malick also came forward to express her condolences and sad tribute to Khanna.
Malick shared the story of meeting Vinod Khanna, when doing her debut movie in Bollywood and that certainly moved us to the core. As they say; some people change you only in their first meetings.
Here is what the lucky Pakistani actress and the only celebrity of this generation who met Vinod Khanna has to say:
Some people depart only physically, Vinod sir you remain forever #RestInPeace #Legend #VinodKhanna

Words couldn’t have described this any better:
I remember you, I remember you clearly and I always will at them back of my memory but very vividly. The caramel skinned legend

She met the veteran actor while shooting for her Bollywood debut Raja Natwarlal:
asking for the Pakistani actress, wanting to meet her, wanting to meet me. I remember you in every memory of my first film in your country,

Because love and art knows no bounds:
I remember you because you made me feel like I never left mine. I remember you, your smile, your laughter, you eyes.

And we won’t forget him too:
I remember you and I will never forget you. #VinodKhanna

It is quite emotional to read the entire memories and fond times that Malick had for Vinod Khanna. Very few people know that he was born in Peshawar, Pakistan and had also worked in a movie here, ‘Godfather”.
