Mikaal Zulfiqar’s debut in Bollywood with Baby was a recipient of great criticism and rebuke. The actor got slammed for working in an anti-Pakistan movie, and after that Mr. Zulfiqar refrained from stepping into Bollywood again. And now we know the reason why!
During an interview, the eye-candy of all the Pakistani ladies revealed:
“Quite honestly it hit me in 2008 when I started getting a lot of work opportunities in India, but the Mumbai attack took place after which I realized that it’s always a risk to be working there
“I also feel that I am a lot more satisfied and comfortable working in my own country.
Thus, the actor deems working in India as ‘risky’. Also commenting on the much controversial issue of why he chose to working in an anti-Pakistan sentiment film, the actor revealed:
“I wasn’t told the entire premise when I signed the project, especially the anti-Pakistan aspect, and I wasn’t involved in the promotions either.”
As they say; Better late than never, Mr. Zulfiqar has finally learned his lesson. Mikaal will be seen in upcoming 5 Pakistani productions including; The Trial, Na Band Na Baraati, Qaid, Ae Dil Meray Chal Ray and Cake.
Moreover, he will also be starring in an upcoming drama of Hum TV “Alif Allah”.
