Pakistani stars rule big at 62nd Filmfare Awards 2017

No wonder Pakistan has got talent and we have also proved it across the border too. And, our celebrities have definitely proved their worth, when it comes to art and precision, in the 62nd Filmfare awards 2017.

Filmfare recently published the list of this year’s nominations on their website, and a lot of awards are up for grabs by our very own Pakistani actors.

Fawad Khan, definitely the heartthrob of Bollywood, has been nominated for the Best Actor in a Supporting Role (Male) for his flawless acting in ‘Kapoor & Sons’. Rishi Kapoor has also been nominated for the same film and the same role. Oh, we have our bets on Fawad. We definitely root for him to win this title.

Not far behind in popularity, Atif Aslam has been nominated for the Best Playback Singer (Male) for ‘Tere Sang Yara’ (Rustom). In the same niche, Rahat Fahat Ali Khan is also nominated for ‘Jag Ghoomeya’ (Sultan). A Pakistani standoff, indeed. We cheer for both!

In her first, Qurat-ul-Ain Balouch has also been nominated for her debut song ‘Kari Kari’ in Pink under the category Best Playback Singer (Female).

Cheers to all these shining Pakistani stars, who stood big in the sloshing talent of sea across the border. We hope and root that you will bring those awesome golden ladies home.
