Emraan Hashmi will be back in the Murder series after starring in the first two installments. The shooting of the film will start in the second half of 2016. Vikram Bhatt will be directing the fourth installment and clarified rumors that the film is not based on the Sheena Bora murder case but only bears similarities which is mere co-incidence.
Also Mahesh Bhatt confirmed it to a popular daily that Emraan will have a strong role in the film. Emraan, who is also working on their other project Raaz Reboot, will finish that first and then move onto Raaz 4.
This is the first time Vikram Bhatt will be working on the Murder franchise, while the previous installments were helmed by Anurag Basu, Mohit Suri and Vishesh Bhatt respectively.
Emraan in the meanwhile is also working on the Azhar biopic which will release in May this year.
