So now has come the time to officially accept that men with beards are more attractive and ‘pleasing to look at’ than men those who are without it. And it is definitely not us, but a recently conducted official study has finally proved this world popular fad.
According to the study published in Journal of Evolutionary Biology, 8500 women were asked to rate men with and without beards. The rating was done with the question seeking them to mark as per the standards of their “Potential Boyfriend”.
During the time period, men were photographed clean-shaven, five days after shaving, 10 days after shaving and then four weeks after shaving. And when the results came, they were as shocking as you can think of them to be. Every single woman included in the study ranked men with facial hear superior to those who hadn’t. YES, EVERY SINGLE WOMAN!
Heavy stubble was preferred more with general attractiveness, followed by full beards and light stubble. Moreover, as per the theory, this study states:
“Beards may be more attractive to women when considering long-term than short-term relationships as they indicate a male’s ability to successfully compete socially with other males for resources.” (Whatever that means).
So men with beards out there, its time you proudly flaunt your stubble.
