Stephen Hawking , famous for scientific inventions and ‘Theory of Everything’, has warned the scientists and the space researchers around the world; to not to contact aliens.
Hawking has warned that alien civilizations shouldn’t be alerted about the human presence. He thinks that aliens are present in the vast number; scattered around the space. Stephen Hawking is of the view that contact with the aliens would be a disaster for human species.
“Our first contact from an advanced civilization could be equivalent to when Native Americans first encountered Christopher Columbus and things ‘didn’t turn out so well’,” Hawking said in a new online film. The film, “Stephen Hawking’s Favourite Places”, is a journey to five different, important locations across the cosmos, on his spacecraft – the SS Hawking.
Hawking says that one day, humans might receive a signal from some extra-terrestrial territory; however, they should think vividly before trying to answer them back.
“They will be vastly more powerful and may not see us as any more valuable than we see bacteria,” Hawking warned. “As I grow older I am more convinced than ever that we are not alone. After a lifetime of wondering, I am helping to lead a new global effort to find out,” he adds further.
We all know that it is not for the first time that Stephen Hawking has warned about the presence of aliens or alerted not to contact them. He is a strong advocate of learning, researching, and experimenting; before implementing the actions on aliens and other species.
