Shahrukh Khan is one of the most inspiring personalities. He rose from an average middle class background to become one of the most powerful celebrities in the world. He has delivered several blockbusters and has earned millions of fans around the world. Yet, he claims he feels lonely a lot of the time and has no one to vent out his personal issues to.
The 51- year-old claimed that he would never seek professional help until he is admitted to a mental asylum.
While discussing about the role of psychiatrist in the latest film Dear Zindagi he said, he himself doesn’t talk to anyone for help or advice.
The actor said in an interview, “I am very cloistered, very shell-like. I feel awkward talking about my personal feeling. As a matter of fact, (when) a friend does talk to me about my personal feelings, I get very awkward.”
“I come on screen and I take it out. There are days when I cry on screen and that could be actual tears but I don’t make a big deal out of it. Other days I just could be very happy on a scene and that could be my personal feeling,” he said.
Further he stated;”It’s not that I am uncomfortable about my personal feelings, I keep them to myself. Never! I don’t think I will ever seek professional advice unless I am admitted to an asylum because people think so and force me to, I have never sought any advice.”
