Another month implies another huge number of movies and shows being added to Netflix (and saying goodbye to numerous others). The full list of titles arriving is underneath, on the whole, how about we take a gander at the most interesting programming hitting the spilling administration this month. On the off chance that you need additionally seeing alternatives, look at the best films on Netflix and the best TV appears on Netflix.
The Top 5
1. Stranger Things 3 (Netflix original) (available 7/4)
After almost two long years, Netflix is finally taking fans back to the home of supernatural monsters and secret government agencies: Hawkins, Indiana. The highly anticipated Stranger Things 3 arrives on Independence Day with eight new episodes, flashed forward a year from Season 2 to land in the summer of 1985 — expect days spent at the mall, by the pool, and getting ice cream at the new spot, Scoops Ahoy. But as fun as the summery season full of new teenage flings among Eleven, Max, and the boys may be, darkness continues to loom over their suburban town, so more sci-fi-meets-Russian-conspiracy-plot drama is imminent. Hopefully the Duffer Brothers will deliver some more wicked ’80s nostalgia.
2. Orange is the New Black, Season 7 (Netflix original) (available 7/26)
One of the first Netflix originals to put the streamer on the map is coming to an end this July. In the seventh and final season of the dramedy, the beloved characters from Litchfield Prison continue to wrestle with the fallout of the prison riot — Taystee potentially facing a lifetime sentence for murder and everybody struggling to survive in Max. But just as incarcerated life continues, the world on the outside keeps changing, especially for Piper who found herself with an early release and is now struggling to survive as an ex-con. With such a strong ensemble cast featuring dramatic, complex female stories, it will be hard to see the series go, but it looks like it’s bound to end on a strong note.
3. The Red Sea Diving Resort (Netflix film) (available 7/31)
This historical drama from Gideon Raff (Homeland) touts a star-studded cast led by Chris Evans, along with the likes of Ben Kingsley, Michael Kenneth Williams, Michiel Huisman, and others to tell the story of how intelligence agents and Ethiopians assisted Jewish Ethiopian refugees traveling from Sudan to Israel in the early ’80s. Following their journey utilizing a deserted resort as a guise for the mission, the military thriller should be a high-stakes, heart-pounding dramatization of an incredible, overlooked true event.
4. Queer Eye, Season 4 (Netflix original) (available 7/19)
The Fab Five are returning with a new set of emotionally-charged makeovers, helping some more men of Kansas City, Missouri to step it up. The whole gang — Antoni, Bobby, Jonathan, Karamo, and Tan — will be back to serve some more looks and confidence, and assist in telling stories that will inadvertently turn you into a weepy mess that you didn’t realize you could become at the hands of reality TV.
5. Taxi Driver (1976) (available 7/1)
Travis Bickle (a young Bobby De Niro) comes back from the Vietnam War and, having some trouble acclimating to daily life, slowly unravels while fending off brutal insomnia by picking up work as a… taxi driver… in New York City. Eventually he snaps, shaves his hair into a mohawk and goes on a murderous rampage while still managing to squeeze in one of the most New York lines ever captured on film (“You talkin’ to me?”). It’s not exactly a heartwarmer — Jodie Foster plays a 12-year-old prostitute — but Martin Scorsese’s 1976 Taxi Driver is a movie in the cinematic canon that you’d be legitimately missing out on if you didn’t watch it.
