There was a time when morning shows in Pakistan was very informative. The time when Nadia Khan and Shaista Lodhi used to host morning shows were full of entertainment along with knowledge and information. Housewives used to watch these morning shows after completing house chores but now the true meaning of morning show is lost somewhere and all we are left to watch is the typical wedding seasons, makeup and beauty contests, dances; which have no knowledge and all we see celebrities and girls dancing on Bollywood songs. Throughout the world morning shows are quite different from the one being aired in our country.
Recently, the veteran actor Nauman Ijaz spoke up on the morning shows being aired in Pakistan,
He said, “Have you seen the morning shows lately? The way to conduct a proper show is lost on us! There is no consistency and neither is there any improvement.”
His post went viral and everyone started commenting and spoke their minds out. Almost everyone agreed with what Nauman Ijaz has to say.
