Naseeruddin Shah is one of the few actors from the Bollywood industry, who speaks only the truth.
The cold war between both the countries emerged when our artists were threatened to leave India, given the deadline of 48 hours.
Various actors stood up in favour of Pakistani artists. Among those were Salman Khan, Karan Johar, Shahrukh Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan and many more.
Recently Naseeruddin Shah shared his experience of how he was treated in Pakistan when he visited in March, 2015.
He stated, “It is tragic that often-times performers from Pakistan are prevented from performing in this country. But they welcome us in Pakistan with open arms.”
He further said, “I keep going to Pakistan because I feel it is very important to have a person-to-person contact. We can’t afford to be swayed by all the political rhetoric. Politicians will change colors whenever it suits them.”
He added, “They love me unconditionally in Pakistan. I feel very special in Pakistan.”
In the end he said, “Indians are being brainwashed by our Government into believing that Pakistan is an enemy country without being aware of the historical background, although in reality; Pakistan beautiful country.”
Naseeruddin Shah spoke up because he, himself, witnessed how he was treated in Pakistan. However, the case is totally opposite with our in India.
