Marking a start of new Television era with her drama serial Behaad in 2013, Nadia Jamil is finally coming back to our TV screens with a new serial.
Explaining what the serial is actually about, Nadia’s brother revealed to a local publication house:
“Nadia is doing a serial with Gohar Rasheed for Urdu1. The serial is focused around highlighting the atrocity of child marriage. Nadia will be playing the role of a lady health worker.”

Explaining why Nadia took a break a from her acting career, he said:
“She had taken a break due to health reasons, but decided to take this project due to the subject.”
The setting of this impending drama is based on Punjab’s countryside. The serial has been directed by Angeline Malik, while it stars powerful actors including Ali Tahir, Mehreen Raheel, and ace-director cum actor Sarmad Khoosat.
