Welcome to a new world of Gods and Monsters is the new tagline for The Mummy, This movie will be the beginning of a new run of interconnected movies. The film is scheduled to be released on June 9, 2017 and is directed by Alex Kurtzman.
The original Mummy film was released in 1999 followed by The Mummy Returns in 2001 and The Scorpion King in 2002. The new Mummy movie sees Tom Cruise as Nick Morton, supported by a cast that includes Sofia Boutella, Annabelle Wallis, Jake Johnson, Courtney B Vance and Russell Crowe.
