It is just a matter of months that Momina Mustehsan was announced as the empowerment champion of Islamabad United, winner of PSL Season 1. Islamabad United, which goes by the mantra of ‘United We Stand’, just released an anthem for this season in collaboration with Ms. Mustehsan and Twitter has definitely gone bonkers over it.
In case you missed out the chance to see what’s the reason behind the hoopla, here is the recently released video:
It seems that Momina is recently coming under spotlight for all the wrong reasons. While this time, we couldn’t ignore but agree with the fact that this song wasn’t meant for Momina at all and the Afreen Afreen singer has left us extremely disappointed.
Let’s take a look on two cents which Twitter users have to offer us:
If you’re pretty you can get away with anything, even murdering half the population with your singing #MominaMustehsan

And I thought Taher Shah was the worst singer Pakistan could ever have. Thank you Momina Mustehsan for proving me wrong ?

People around Pakistan have been lambasting the pretty, pretty singer for destroying one of the most awaited PSL anthems this year. Obviously, IU created such a noise that Momina’s vocals would be stealing the limelight, but we are not sure what would we want to comment as this song couldn’t meet the standards we expected.
Well, it seems that Momina Mustehsan will soon become the definition of short-lived fame and we wish that it never comes true.
