Momina Mustehsan featured on BBC’s “100 Most Influential Women 2017”

And as BBC announced the top “100 Most Influential Women 2017” from across the globe, none other than singing sensation Momina Mustehsan made it to the list.

“This year the women on the list will be part of the 100 Women Challenge, tackling some of the biggest problems facing women around the world,” BBC reported.

Though the list is yet to be completed, Momina Mustehsan is the only Pakistani to be named amongst the 100 women till now. At the moment, BBC has only revealed 60 names whereas the remaining 40 will be named till October. Amongst the 60 named include; NASA Astronaut Peggy Whitson, Liberian President Ellen Jhonson Sirleaf and England Footballer Steph Houghton.

Nonetheless, Momina’s name stands brightly alight amongst the other 60 names, represented as a musician featured with one of her own quotes, stating: “The quote that helped me the most with my life was: It only gets better when you get better. Would you believe I found this in the inside of a New York takeaway fortune cookie when I was binge-eating my way through depression? That woke me up.”

Regardless of all the fury staged across social media in the recent past after Momina’s supportive tweet for Mahira Khan, the girl kept her calm deciding not to revert back and settle the fire with silence, winning her way yet again.
