Mismanagement or Misunderstanding? – HMJ Premiere in Lahore.

Farhad-Humayun-The-Score-Magazine-02-600x421

Finally after month’s of promotional activities of the much anticipated movie Ho Mann Jahan’s first premiere held on Dec 29th 2015 at Super Cinema, Vouge Tower in Lahore. A star-studded evening, which was attended by  many stars, celebrities, sports persons and socialites was going on peacefully until Farhad Humayun – son of renowned PTV artist Navid Shahzad and drummer for Overload walked out of the cinema as a sign of protest.

According to him, he and his mother were invited personally by Asim Raza. And he was aware what happens in such events hence he accompanied his 70-year-old mother to the event. He stated that at first, there were difficulties entering the cinema, later they were asked by the organisers to sit in the top right corner of the hall, where it was impossible for his mother to sit. Despite arguing with the attendants, he was unable to get the seats and decided to leave the venue as a sign of protest. He showed his full anger towards the discrimination and VIP culture going on in the country.

After this incident, I just wonder if this was mismanagement or misunderstanding. But, whatsoever i hope the premiere in Karachi will not face such incident. FHM wishes Asim Raza and Walnut PR good luck for the event tonight.
