2017 couldn’t be wrong to dubbed as the year of divorces in Pakistan. From Veena Malik & Asad Khattak creating an issue of their marriage to Noor Bukhari and Wali Hamid parting their ways, this year sure kick-started with one hell of a separation journey. However, the divorce that boggled us all was of Sara Bhatti and Mikaal Zulfiqar who silently announced that they are together no more, and this shocked us all.
After six months of love and companionship, Mikaal and Sara called it quits. Mikaal confessed about the end of his perfect married life on Facebook and now it seems that his wife has taken upon himself the responsibility to let people know about the life after splitting up.
Here is what she wrote:
“Be it a working mother or a stay-at-home mother, she is fully responsible for the household and kids.”
“Has my life changed after the divorce? Nope. I’m still responsible for the house and kids. The responsibility of a husband has been alleviated, which means I had more responsibilities when I was married,” she adds.
Not only this, but Sara had quite an inspiring message for the family of the couple who has gone through this too:
“Please, mothers, instead of saying my son can not take care of the children encourage him to be a better father. Friends, instead of saying it is just your wife’s responsibility say maybe you can just manage yourself. Sisters and brothers give our hardworking women a smile, a thank you and show them a little understanding. It may be unfair, but we’re not complaining about the workload, just give us credit where it is due.”
