Mehwish Hayat’s opinion on Pakistan created controversy

Mehwish Hayat is a talented Pakistani actor who has appeared on television and in films. Mehwish is also regarded as Pakistan’s indisputable queen of cinema. She has given Pakistani cinema numerous blockbuster films till date.
When asked about the lack of Pakistani content, he responded that the solution is simple: Pakistani content is simply not good enough. She went on to say that the global audience is significantly more intelligent, and that Pakistani content is too focused on the domestic market, and that such work does not transfer worldwide. She stated that while creating content for the local market is not harmful, such content has no chance of reaching worldwide platforms. It’s not that Pakistanis can’t do it; she claims that if a small country like Korea can top the Netflix global charts, why can’t Pakistan? Pakistan, she believes, has to modify its working approach. Pakistan has to improve its storytelling skills as well as its professionalism. In order to access the international market, Pakistan must first eliminate local market content. She also stated that the type of inferior content circulating in the market is the key cause for her getting fussy about job. She claimed that after DilLagi, which aired in 2016, she couldn’t think of anything worth writing about.
