This time the actress has made it to the list of 5 most influential Muslim women across the world who are making change in the aspect of gender equality and women rights.

Other names on the Muslim Vibe’s list include American entrepreneur and activist Ibtihaj Muhammad, Egyptian athlete Manal Rostom and US Congress member Ilhan Omar. The list has been compiled by Penny Appeal – an international NGO working – on the occasion of World Gender Equality Day.
