Meera Jee never fails to astonish us with her publicity stunts. The veteran actress keeps an eye on every opportunity to hold onto for keeping herself in spotlight, and this time she has employed yet another strategy to come up front. During an interview to local channel, the actress claimed that she is facing serious financial crisis due to her unemployment and being out of business.
What’s more is that the poor actress has no money to spare for herself. She has claimed:
“I do not have money at all, as I am no longer able to pay dues to my househelp!”
“When an artist does not get any work to do, how would they earn and make ends meet?”
Meera Jee further claimed that she has started selling her prized possessions, including her car, to get money to shoot for an upcoming film’s music. Cherry on top, she has to use her brother’s car instead. Sad life. Right? She had also charged Rs.25000 for attending the program at which she was speaking with the Press.
In other news, Meera has also expressed her intention to open a salon with stage actress Deedar in Gulberg area, Lahore. While talking to media, Meera said that she wanted to focus on business alongside acting.
