Maya Ali has made her name in Pakistani industry with strong acting, which has already left the entire country smitten with her good looks and charming personality. As far as her recent work is concerned, the Aun Zara actress will be debuting against Ali Zafar in upcoming Pakistani movie “Teefa in Trouble”. However, very few know that the actress got a chance to prove her mettle across the border too.
Maya Ali got a chance to star opposite the Boss of Bollywood, Akshay Kumar in “Rustom” and an upcoming production “Ikka”, but she refused both! During her conversation with the local publication house, the actress said:
“I love my country and the only reason I was offered movies in India was because I was already working extensively in Pakistan.
“I didn’t feel bad when they didn’t happen. At this point of time, I want to stay here, in Pakistan and earn enough love and acceptability by my own people. That’s what matters to me the most”
Maya doesn’t regret declining the offers for which she also visited India. Describing her reason, she said:
“I have some issues regarding wardrobe. Until those issues are sorted out, I won’t say yes to them.”
