Since everyone was busy discussing Apple, Malala also mocked the new iPhone. She posted a picture of her dress bearing an eerie resemblance to the phone’s triple-camera.
“Is this just a coincidence that I wore this dress on the same day as Apple iPhone 11’s launch, ” said the Nobel laureate on Twitter.
Malala’s harmless tweet garnered plenty of derogatory comments. People pointed out that Malala should call out the brutality in Indian occupied Kashmir instead of commenting on the new iPhone.
Malala you are such a disappointment! I’ve seen your billboards on US highways about education and always wondered why Pakistanis don’t like you. How you remained quiet on Indian brutalities in Kashmir with kids locked under curfew, I’m convinced you’re an hypocrite. #Malala https://t.co/1vPNq5tFel

What a disgrace you #Malala are turning out to be. Your Nobel prize should be taken back for not speaking out for Kashmiri children who are being denied education. You should have been all over the media on this issue on a daily basis. But alas !! https://t.co/mB9WR3EBFA

Shame on you #Malala !!
Not excited on your blue dress.
Ppl in Kashmir are being ripped off their blue dresses but not a word on Indian atrocities & brutalities.
Children unable to go to schools. Without education for 38 days now ! Does it bother you !
Perhaps NO ! https://t.co/5253DpJAX5— Teymur Syed (@TeymurSyed) September 12, 2019
Actress Mathira also criticised Malala for overlooking the Kashmir issue and speaking up for world peace.
‘First of all, she has the time to post about iPhone stuff why not Kashmir, I don’t get it. Her one tweet against Priyanka and Kashmir will help but she is worried about her dress and iPhone,’ expressed Mathira.
