Mansha Pasha addressed all the negativity on social media around her engagement with Jibran Nasir. The Laal Kabootar actor in a Twitter thread talked about people on social media making ‘assumptions’ about her personal life.
“This is especially true for me with regards to the troll comments on my some of my engagement photos. Assumptions made on my life, my choices, my previous relationships. You cant justify cruelty by calling it “an opinion”. Especially if its a worthless opinion” She wrote while posting a Tweet by Mufti Menk along the same lines.
Actor Armeena Khan whose had her troubles with social media trolling recently, also chimed in and supported Mansha’s stance.
“You looked like a queen Mansha and your face reflected true happiness and nobody can take those moments away from you. They hate because of empty hearts and minds. I’m just going to send you positive energy to fill your timeline with love” Armeen tweeted.
Last week, Mansha and Jibran held their engagement ceremony. Since then videos and pictures of the event have circulated heavily on social media. Amidst all the congratulatory messages, the couple was subjected to trolling.
One video in particular that shows Jibran kissing his bride to be on the cheek received backlash on social media. Some people went on to describe the act as ‘immoral’ comparing it to Yasir Hussain’s proposal to Iqra Aziz at the Lux Style Awards earlier this year.
