A person died of cardiac arrest while trying to catch a glimpse of Shah Rukh Khan at the Vadodra railway station, India. The station was brimming with the fans of SRK, who came through August Kranti Express to view the star promoting his film.
The deceased Farid Khan Pathan was the social activist at Hatikhana area of Vadodara. He along with his wife and daughter reached the railway platform to meet the Raees actor, as the family was his zealot fans. However, he felt sick and suffered from a cardiac arrest, after which he was rushed to the hospital but was proclaimed dead.
As per the police reports, Farid died due to over suffocation caused by stampeding at the railway station from avid fans.
Shah Rukh Khan is currently promoting the film by travelling from Mumbai to Delhi with the film’s director Rahul Dholakia and producer Ritesh Sidhwani. Raees is slated to launch on 25th January.
