`Main Sitara` is a story of an aspiring starlet who wants to make a big name in the cinema and failed due to the dirty politics in the field. The story revolves around a girl in the era of 1960 / 70s, being directed by the perfectionist, Seema Tahir and written by Faiza Iftikhar. The cast includes our very favorite Ayesha Gul who has specially come down here for the serial from Dubai, while others include Meekal Zulfiqar and Saba Qamar. Let us wait and watch the struggle of a woman of yesteryear in today`s world of rising cinema, demise of Karachi Film Industry and migration to Lahore.
