Mahira Khan is all set to hit the silver screens nationwide this Eid-ul-Fitar with her comeback in Pakistani cinemas. The superstar is returning home with a new movie “Verna”, which is being directed by Shoaib Mansoor.
Mahira broke the ice and revealed her new screen project a few days ago on the micro-blogging website – Twitter.

After winning hearts all across South Asia and worldwide with her outstanding performance in “Raees”, Mahira Khan has started shooting for her upcoming movie “Verna”, by Shoaib Mansoor.
The star has also hinted into singing a song in the movie, which the director himself has offered her.
“He wants me to sing in our new film together called Verna. He knows his music. But I can’t! I am extremely self-critical”, says Mahira Khan.
“Although Shoaib Mansoor feels I am a singer. He feels I am better at singing than acting”, she added.
“This film has been Written and Directed by a man of Pakistan for the men of the world to listen to women. It is to encourage women to speak up … Khuda ke liye bol verna…..”, says Shoaib Mansoor.
The movie “Varna” is set to release this Eid-Ul-Fitar.
Mahira also updated a post on her official Instagram account, exclusively from the set of “Verna”, at Islamabad where the shooting is being held. It seems as though Mahira Khan is missing her crew in Islamabad, and bidding winters a good farewell here in Karachi.
