It seems that Pakistani beauty Mahira Khan’s schedule has gotten the best of her. This is why she has decided to opt out of Bilal Lashari’s next, the possible remake of Maula Jatt 2.
According to leading media portals, Mahira Khan has left the cast of movie due to which the film is facing excessive delay. The reports have further stated that the entire cast including Hamza Ali Abbasi, Fawad Khan and Humaima Malick were shooting at the uber-expensive set, which Lashari had especially built to give move a realistic touch.
However, Mahira’s scenes were remaining to be shot; but she decided to ditch at the last minute.
Lashari, who is already in a hurry to wrap up the movie, is now again on the search of a leading lady to pair opposite Fawad Khan.
For now, speculations are ripe that Mahira is currently busy with Shoaib Mansoor’s upcoming venture ‘Verna’ and on the other hand, she has also signed ‘Saath Din Muhabbat In’ opposite Ho Mann Jahan co-star Sheheryar Munawaar. This is being portrayed as the reason for her sudden departure from the movie.
Whatever the reason may be, if the news is completely true, we are sad that Mahira decided to opt out of such a classical movie opposite the crème de la crème of Pakistani actors. Fingers crossed, till we come across any official confirmation.
On the other news, Lashari a long time ago denied that the movie won’t be any other rendition of Maula Jatt and wouldn’t be name the same too.
