Iron man and Jungle book director Jon Favreau has decided to walk on the wild side by planning to remake one of Disney’s most beloved movies, The Lion King.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the remake of the 90’s classic will not be live action but will look like it. The film shall be made in photo-realistic CG.
Moreover the directer has assigned James Earl Jones to reprise his role as Mufasa, whereas writer turned actor Donald Glover who just won a Golden Globe for his work in Atlanta will be taking his place in the great circle of life as Simba.
Looking forward to working with this legend. #Mufasa pic.twitter.com/1LszbWrcYT
