There has been much hype of the threat alerts that Pakistani model and actress Komal Aziz has been receiving by her landlord. According to her latest statement, Komal said that if anything would happen to her or her family, her landlord Jahanzaib Shahani would be responsible for it.
Talking to a state-run news channel, Komal said that her life was in danger since the landlord had pulled guns on her and her family members during an earlier dispute. “An investigating officer has been assigned to us ever since media ran the news regarding the assault on us,” she said. “The police are actively looking for him,” she added.
The dispute arose when she decided to leave the residential area after 11 months and demanded the landlord to return her deposit money. But the landlord refused to return the amount, which is to beof Rs. 62,000/- and insisted that Komal must pay the CBC bills as well.
“The CBC bills are not the concern of the tenant—rather they should be paid by the property owner,” she said. “However, he had defaulted on those as well.”
