“Pakistan is proud of her youth, particularly the students, who are nation builders of tomorrow. They must fully equip themselves by discipline, education, and training for the arduous task lying ahead of them”. These were the words of Quaid-e-Azam, the father of the Nation.
Unfortunately, the words in today’s Pakistan go to waste as the country’s economy crumbles along with its morals and values. Where once girls would cycle to school in Lahore and clerics would give them “Patashay” (local sweets) as reward for the effort to get in an education.
Where nationally the levels of education was one where Pakistan was thought to be the rising tiger of the east but due to corruption and radicalization of the nation during the Afghan soviet error not only brought education to a standstill rather took the nation years back in terms of educated our youth and prioritizing their future with bad budget decisions and even with the lowering of the educational budgets the leaders post the era of our Quaid and Liaquat Ali khan indulged In corruption beyond anyone’s wildest dreams.
I would like to end my blog with another quote by our Leader Quaid-e-Azam, “I shall always be guided by the principles of justice and fair-play without any, as it put in the political language, prejudice or ill-will, in other words, partiality or favoritism. My guiding principle will be justice and complete impartiality, and I am sure that with your support and co-operation, I can look forward to Pakistan becoming one of the greatest nations of the world”.
