Kindness is defined as the quality of being friendly, generous and considerate. Kindness can mean different things to different people. The meaning is in how YOU choose to show it. Be it through empathy, acceptance, kind gestures, thoughtfulness, the possibilities are entirely up to you. Kindness might look like being helpful or showing empathy. It also means doing nice things without expecting nice things in return. Kindness is basically a movement. One small kind of act can cause a ripple effect that impacts on entire community. If we are all focused on being kind, we are creating a movement of change. Kindness is love and love is always kind. Just think about what it means to love someone ? Well, that’s kindness. It’s all about being caring, selfless, compassionate and unconditionally kind. We share love with others through kind acts such as a smile, a nice word, an expected deed.

It is in our nature to learn by watching others, that is why it is so important to be kind to yourself. And show kindness to those around you. If everyone did one random act of kindness each day, we might just change the world. Random act of kindness provides us all with a day to really reflect on the importance of kindness. So be kind. Kindness really does matter. People really are struggling right now and may not always shout about it. Kindness won’t make everything better, but it will make our lives easier and more rewarding.
