It’s no secret Kerry Washington loves a radiant, fresh-faced makeup look and after working as the brand ambassador and creative consultant for Neutrogena since 2013, Washington has seemingly picked up a few makeup tricks of her own. Luckily for us, the Scandal actress is making her first foray into beauty collaborations with the inaugural Kerry Washington x Neutrogena collection.
For her first go-round, Washington’s forthcoming Neutrogena collaboration was designed to empower “natural beauty” and boasts just two palettes : the Essential Eye and Essential Cheek palette.
The Essential Eye Palette ($13) comes laced with five natural shades, each of which have a built-in primer to prevent eye creasing, perfect for those long work days.
“Grateful,” “Captivating,” and “Elegant” are the names of the shades in The Essential Cheek Palette ($10), which comes equipped with a rich bronzer, blush, and highlighter.
“On a busy day, if I keep these two essential palettes in my purse at all times — I can have other products that I toss in and out — but if I have these two, I’m armed with everything I need, no matter who I am, no matter where I’m going,” Washington says. “I wanted it to work for everybody, for every situation, to take the complexity out of it and just have your essential kit.”
