I kept crying thinking it’s the end for me and he just kept laughing – Katrina Kaif

Bollywood diva Katrina Kaif has recently come about with an incident with Salman Khan that has raised quite a few questions in our mind. Katrina and Salman, though might not have mended their broken bonds, but their on-screen comeback is all the latest talk of the town.

In a recent interview, the actress shared how she was once pulled out from a film starring John Abraham recalling how Salman was a pillar of support to her throughout her early days in B-town.

“We all know that Salman has the kind of heart that loves to help people. But for me, the greatest strength that he was to me was that he didn’t try to make things different for me, he encouraged me every moment to stand up, find my own feet and work hard,” she said.

While commenting on how she was called out of the movie despite shooting for the flick for over two whole days, she quoted, “I was called one night for a shot. It was a silent shot, that too I was playing a ghost. It was a passing shot. After shooting for two days, I was told I am chucked out. When I left the room, I started crying, I was bawling my eyes out.”

Here comes the interesting part. When she later met Salman Khan and told him of the entire situation while crying uncontrollably; this is where Salman unexpectedly kept laughing right on her face.

“Sometime in the day, I met Salman and I’m weeping, and he’s just laughing. I started to think he’s so mean. I’m thinking my career is over and I’ve been chucked out from my first film and it’s the end of my life and he’s laughing? He finally gave in and calmed me down saying, you don’t understand, this doesn’t mean anything,” said the actress.

Salman simply told Katrina Kaif to keep her focus and always work hard to make it big in the film industry.
