Bollywood movie Hindi Medium starring Irrfan Khan and Saba Qamar was a surprising hit at the Bollywood box office. The makers of the film are working on a sequel, but will not be able to cast Saba Qamar due to a ban on Pakistani artists in India.
Saba Qamar’s performance was praised, with critics applauding her comedic timing. Her absence from the sequel leaves big shoes to fill. Several names have been thrown around as her replacement, but none have garnered more attention than Kareen Kapoor.
Kareena who is no stranger to comedy with roles in Jab We Met and Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham under her belt, hasn’t yet signed on for the movie.
