Kareena Kapoor Khan breaks silence on how she feels about Amrita Singh!

Before tying the knot with Indian actress Kareena Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan was happily married to Amrita Singh. The duo had two children Sara and Ibrahim, before parting ways in 2004, after 13 years of togetherness.

Cut to present, Saif is a happy man with a cute, little family having found love in Kareena Kapoor again.

However, how things really are between Kareena and Saif’s ex-wife Amrita has never come under spotlight.

Speaking on the matter on an episode off Karan Johar chat show Koffee with Karan, Kareena spoke about her thoughts on Amrita.

The 38-year-old actress was asked by Karan Johar if she has ever been stressed out about Saif’s ex-wife and his children Sara and Ibrahim.

“No, he told me, ‘My two children are my family, and they’re always going to be with me. They’re of utmost importance. And I said, ‘I love you, and I want to embrace everything about you. I was madly in love with him, and I still am, and I always will be,” she said.

Kareena was also asked about her equation with Amrita, to which she replied, “I have utmost regard and respect for her. We’ve never met. I met Saif years after his divorce with Amrita.”

The ‘Veere di Wedding’ starlet also revealed about how Saif had proposed to her back in the day.

Kareena said Saif popped the question in Greece during the shooting of their film, Tashan.

“We were shooting for Chhaliya Chhaliya. He stayed back for the shoot because it was my song. He just woke up one morning and he was like, ‘Listen, let’s get married. I want to marry you. Let’s just go to a church and do it right here.’ I was like, ‘Are you mad?’ He said, ‘I don’t care. Let’s do it. I want to marry you and spend my life with you. And I can’t see it any other way.’ And I just realised that this is it,” she shared.
