It seems like controversies have become a part of the life of famous film producer Karan Johar. Karan Johar has been slammed for providing justification for the death of one of the characters, Alizeh from his film Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. In one of the interviews, Karan had spoken about the character of Alizeh where he justified her death by saying that she had to die as she could not love the person back who loved her.
This particular statement of Karan Johar did not go well with some sections of people who criticized him for such a casual and unrealistic remark on the entire matter. The caption from one such tweet is reads, ‘Karan Johar saying he killed off Alizeh in ADHM because she didn’t love Ayan and chalking it off as karma is disgusting because we still live in a day and age where women are constantly attacked or killed for not reciprocating feelings and we are NOT going to romanticize that.
Karan has been criticized for giving a unreasonable justification for the death of Alizeh in the film who dies at the end as a result of suffering from cancer.
