Everybody was worried about their loved ones and the urge of reaching out to people but not being able to have them around or even get no connections to talk to them really does bother you.
Mobile networks and internet connections were down for more than 3 days, a lot of people nagged about it because everywhere they go, there would be no signals and it cut them off from the world.
According to the news, the rain and the roads being flooded really ruined a lot of things, the grid stations were filled with water in Defence, North Karachi, Garden and etc. However, it was not possible for K-electric to give power supply either until the roads clear up because of the fear of electrocution and then being blamed upon as a 30 year old man was taken to the hospital in Landhi because of being electrocuted. Recently, a child’s body was found from inside the KPT Underpass. There were many deaths which took place in these different areas because of rain and the rest died out of worry as they were not able to contact people to even ask if they were okay and only stuck because of traffics.
We have never faced a rain like this in Karachi, it drowned itself and it took away lives with it as well as ruined the infrastructure of the city more. Prayers needed.
