K-pop star shares alarming note on his Instagram post!

Former South Korean boy band 14U member, Hyunwoong alarmed fans by his social media post!

Hyunwoong, on Saturday, posted an alarming photo on his Instagram handle with a note that reads, “I want to die”.

The singer has also erased all of his previous Instagram posts adding concerned to the fans for their favourite singer.

Soon after the worrisome post, various social media account shared the message and provided guides for international fans on how to send positive encouraging messages in Korean, some of the fans were even prepared to call authorities and alert them just in case.

Later the same day, Hyunwoong deleted the message and posted another photo while thanking fans and apologizing for worrying them.

“I’m so sorry for worrying you. To be honest, I feel empty in my heart and that is so large every night, I think it’s grown a lot and gotten worse than I realized. Reading each of your comments has been a great source of strength for me, and it made me realize that I really shouldn’t have had thoughts like this. I won’t make you worry again. I’ll show you a smiling Kim Hyun Woong. I’m so, so sorry for worrying you, and I’m so sorry to my family, friends, fellow members, and fans,” he wrote.

Fans after reading the post were glad that disaster was stopped; many are encouraging for better treatment of idols and for people to stop harassing them online.

14U disbanded in May this year based on mutual agreement of boys.

Known for its ultra-competitive, pressure-cooker society, South Korea has one of the world’s highest suicide rates. It was a few weeks ago when K-pop star Sulli committed suicide.
