Johnny Depp is an American actor and musician. He first broke into stardom in 1987 when he starred in the TV series 21 Jump Street. Depp perhaps best known for portraying Jack Sparrow in the Pirates of the Caribbean films — which earned him the first of his three Academy Award nominations — and his frequent collaborations with director Tim Burton. He is the father of model and actress Lily-Rose Depp.

Franchise producer Jerry Bruckheimer confirmed last month that Depp will not be involved in the scripts that are currently being worked on for a new ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ film.
Having said that after the verdict, former exec shares there is a huge demand for Depp’s Jack Sparrow and it is highly likely that the star will return to reboot his role.
“I absolutely believe post-verdict that Pirates is primed for rebooting with Johnny as Capt. Jack back on board,” he said. “There is just too much potential box-office treasure for a beloved character deeply embedded in the Disney culture.
“With [producer] Jerry Bruckheimer riding high on the massive success of Tom Cruise in Top Gun: Maverick, there is huge appetite for bringing back bankable Hollywood stars in massively popular franchises,” the insider adds.
