It’s been few months since Junaid Jamshed passed away in a plane crash leaving many fans mourning his loss, but memories are still fresh in our hearts.
Just recently, Salman Ahmed- the founder of Junoon- presented a heart-touching tribute to Junaid Jamshed at 5th Hum Awards 2017.
Junaid Jamshed’s sons Taimur and Babar also joined Salman Ahmed.
Salman Ahmed started with the Junoon’s ‘Azadi’ and ‘Jazba-e-Junoon’, and lastly and rounded off the medley with ‘Dil Dil Pakistan’.
Junaid Jamshed’s eldest son Taimur began the performance with a speech, in which he spoke about his father’s love for his country ‘Pakistan’. He said, “My father loved Pakistan… Until now, I had no idea that he was loved by so many people. The stories I heard about the people he helped to the ones he inspired, I’ve never been so overwhelmed.”
He also said, “Anyone who lost someone on that flight, we are in this together… I hope and pray we can come out of this together. Please know that you are not alone.”
