Jennifer Aniston, has sparked a gossip amongst fans of the show that brought her to the mainstream as she confirmed that the Friends cast was working on something new.
In an interview she told host Stephen Colbert that there was something in the pipeline.
Colbert who showed a printout of a selfie of Friends actors from Aniston’s Instagram asked: “So you can confirm that something is happening?”
“Something is happening. But we don’t know what that something is,” she responded. And then kept repeating how something was happening but she did not know what it was.
To which, the host noted: “Doesn’t matter, something is better than nothing.”
In response to a question about how often do the popular TV show’s friendly cast get together, Aniston said: “Once every two years but the girls all the time.”
Rumours about the Friends cast reuniting for a sequel were always denied by the stars but the Horrible Bosses star has now confirmed that it is not a sequel but “something” involving the entire team.
Airing from 1994 to 2004, Friends starred Aniston as Rachel Green, Lisa Kudrow as Phoebe Buffay, Courteney Cox as Monica Geller, David Schwimmer as Ross Geller, Matthew Perry as Chandler Bing, and Matt LeBlanc as Joey Tribbiani. To date, it remains one of the most popular TV shows.
