Days after the accusation of sexual harassment against Rajkumar Hirani, renowned poet and lyricist Javed Akhtar has come out in his support. Hirani was accused by the assistant director of Sanju, starring Ranbir Kapoor. Even though the director has denied the claims.
Javed Akhtar joins the likes of Dia Mirza, Sharman Joshi and Arshad Warsi who are on Hirani’s side. To show his support for Hirani, Javed Akhter tweeted, “I had come to the film industry in 1965. After so many years if I am asked who are the most decent people you met in this industry over almost 5 decades, perhaps the first name that will come to my mind is RAJU HIRANI. G.B Shaw has said. “it is too dangerous to be too good.”

Even though he is a supporter of the #metoo movement, it can be clearly seen that the lyricist is not ready to believe the accusations made against his director friend.
Rajkumar Hirani is known for making commercial as well as critically successful movies, which include PK and 3 Idiots. His recent successful project was Sanju. It got a lot of love and appreciation from the audience.
