It’s POMI season!

It’s time for the pomegranate season and it surely is one of my favourite fruits. Not only does it taste divine but is so beneficial for our system. You didn’t know that? In that case, you just have to keep reading! 

This sweet red, juicy fruit is loaded with nutrients such as fiber, protein, Vit C, Vit K, Folate and Potassium. It contains medicinal properties and has amazing anti inflammatory affect making it an excellent fruit to indulge in. It is anti-fungal and bacterial plus helps improve memory and exercise function! 

Moreover, it lowers blood pressure, reducing risk of heart disease and eliminates joint pain or arthritis. 

There is still ongoing research on the effects of pomegranate against prostate cancer and can be used to fight breast cancer. That is truly surprising! 

Who knew this fruit could have so many medicinal, physical and mental benefits along with ensuring our skin glows throughout this season?! I know what I’m drinking everyday. Make the most of POMI season everyone.
