Pakistan has always been underestimated for its beauty, when you hear the name, Pakistan, all people think are bad things. There’s so much more to Pakistan that you’ll ever know. Amidst all the chaos, we have forgotten the beauty of our landscape.
Pakistan comprises of a lot tourist destinations, from wild mountain passes and incredible lakes to decorated mosques and ancient fortresses, it has it all. Here are few of my favorite places, hope you love them as much as I do.
- Neelum valley-Azad Kashmir
If you go North of Azad Kahsmirs capital, Muzaffarbad, avalley called ‘Neelum Valley’ stretches out for about 240kms. This is one of the most beautiful views I have ever laid my eyes on. It is home to a number of rivers, freshwater streams, forests, lush green mountains and a river. Absolutely breathtaking!
- Lahore
It is a city but trust me when I say this, it definitely comes in your list of go to places. It is a treasure of historical places; it has remains from the times of Mughals, extremely informative and fascinating. The number of places you can go to if you plan on visiting Lahore are Badshahi Mosque, the Wazir Khan Mosque, and of course the Lahore Fort and of course unlimited amounts of havelis!!
- Shangrila Resort- Skardu
In the far north of Pakistan, Skardu, the central valley of Gilgit-Baltistan, is an epitome of grace, serenity and wilderness. Shangrila popular tourist spot in Skardu, about 25 minutes away by car. Restaurant in the rest house of Shangrila is the highlight of this location, which is designed in the framework of the aircraft. 100% recommended!!
- Monal Restuarany- Islamabad
If you’re on a trip to Islamabad, and looking for a place to dine out with the perfect weather and the perfect view, Monal is the place you should head to. This restaurant offers the best of Pakistani cuisine, your taste buds will thank you and you ll definitely come back for more.
- Bahria Town-Karachi
In the mood for a long drive? Well Bahria Town is the place for you. Recently established, located on the outskirts of Karachi, this town comprises of everything, restaurants, hospitals, schools,amuesemet park and even a zoo!!
