Those who drink more than two sodas a day experienced a 500% greater increase. The way artificial sweeteners confuse the body may play a part, but another reason might be psychological. It tricks your brains to identify the difference between the real sugar and artificial and you senses are damaged due to this.
Other than that, drinking soda can lead to dehydration because of its high levels of caffeine. Many people will drink soda with a meal instead of water and forget to get their necessary daily intake of water. Which can cause many problems into your metabolism and intestine.
Any kind of sugar you take is not good for your health, especially when its carbonated. Many chemical are mixed and most of them are artificial ingredients, which can cause some serious problems.
