Famous Indian T.V actor Sara Khan was recently in Pakistan to shoot for her debut Pakistani drama Bay Khudi alongside Noor Hassan, as well as another Pakistani drama with our very own Atiqa Odho.
However, as soon as she landed to India, rumours sparked that the star was detained in Pakistan, as she extended her visit for two days.
In an interview Sara rubbished the gossip, saying:
“I was told to stay back for my No Objection Certificate (NOC) and I stayed in my five-star hotel not in police custody. I don’t know who is spreading such news. I was not doing anything illegal there. I stayed back to get the NOC.”
Talking about her first working experience in Pakistan, Sara was all praises.
“It’s an honour to do my first Pakistani drama series. In Pakistan, serials and films do not have a demarcation like in India. In fact, the Pakistani TV industry is biggest there. So, I am super excited.”
She further said, “The reason I decided to come to Pakistan was because of the strong content in Pakistani television.”
