The investigation officer has admitted that all the operations of Axact are legal. The false case against the tech-oriented organization was lodged by the same government which is ruling in the Centre now.
The government had filed the case against Axact while BolNews was about to be launched, because the news channel vowed to provide journalists a platform on which they could exercise true journalism. Bol News had vowed that it wouldfollow the ‘Haqeeqi Journalism’. Nonetheless, it chafed the government.
Even the investigation officer has acknowledged that he could not find any substantial thing and he has submitted the same statement to the court. Interestingly, the government could not find any single plaintiff in the case against Axact, who could claim that he had been duped.
On the other hand, Bol News channel apparently seems to be a solitary organization, however rating agency shows that it has a massive viewership of 80 percent. Just like Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan’s party, which also enjoys over 80 percent of following in the country.
At the time of its launching, 90 percent of the Pakistani journalist community had applied for various positions in BolNews, because of its policy of ‘Haqeeqi Journalism’.
CEO Bol News Shoaib Ahmed Shaikh said this during his visit to monument of late Bol News Anchorperson Arshad Sharif. The monument will later be inaugurated by mother of Arshad Sharif.
