Idris Elba fans will be seeing less of him active on social media in 2020, seem like The Hobbs & Shae has already decided for his new year resolution!
The actor in a recent interview opened up about how he has lost interest in social media and has decided that he will be stepping back from it.
The 47-year-old star explained, ‘I’ll just sit in the dark, stare and try not to do anything — just clear my mind and decompress,’
‘When I get in bed at 9 or 10, I feel great the next day. But it really depends. I typically get four to five hours of sleep a night.’
“I’ve been trying to wean myself off. I used to post a lot more, but it’s been putting me off lately,” he told Fast Company in an interview.
“And Twitter’s just not how I want to receive my news.”
He also added, “I read the news aggregated on my iPad, but I can’t check it constantly—I’m not proud of it, but it’s true—because it makes me feel depressed.”
Elba’s recent social media moment, amid the chatter surrounding John Legend being named People magazine’s “Sexiest Man Alive” earlier this month, became the most memorable for fans now as the star has decided to take a break from Social Media.
