Huda Kattan is showing no signs of slowing down anytime soon. In the last few months alone, the beauty entrepreneur has debuted a new range of fragrances, unveiled plans to release an all-new lineup of eyeshadows later this month, and unveiled a three-shade collection of metallic lipsticks just in time for party season. In 2018, the Iraqi blogger-turned-entrepreneur also took on the role of executive producer to launch her own reality show, was named one of Forbes richest self-made women, and topped the Instagram Rich List for 2018, as the most lucrative influencer for the second year in a row. But leave it to Kattan to constantly one up herself.
In a recent interview, the 35-year-old opened up about her future business plans, which included dipping her toes in the skincare market in the coming year. She revealed that the skincare range would be its separate brand (much like Kayali, her and her sister Mona’s line of scents), meaning she will be at the helm of three different beauty brands when it launches. “We have plans to launch a skin-care brand in 2019 — which is also independent of Huda Beauty with its own brand identity — which is a really exciting challenge for us,” Kattan told of the new venture.
The said skin-care line is actually to be completely separate from Huda Beauty, meaning blogger-turned-businesswoman will soon be the founder of three successful brands (last year, Kattan launched a fragrance brand – Kayali, with her sister Mona)
This leaves us with indefinite questions: What exactly does a Huda Kattan skin-care line look like? How many products will there be? Which ingredients and technology will make the cut? And what about the packaging? Phew! We really hope the wait will be worth it. Unfortunately, Kattan is staying pretty tight-lipped about the collection but we can’t help speculating about what products will make the cut. We clearly know that the Huda Queen is a big fan of nourishing moisturizers, hydrating serums and skin soothing oils, so there’s a huge chance that such products will make an appearance in the much awaited line up
